How you can
help
The
DCNA is an active neighborhood association that has been very
successful in enacting positive changes in our area, such as developing
the salmon ladder on Denny Creek and working with local government to
protect and improve O.O. Denny and Big Finn Hill parks.
We always need more helpful hands and creative
minds. We encourage you
to get involved however you can. Here are a few ways you can help:
Become a member.
Membership, as they say, has its privileges. You'll help fund programs
that are making a positive impact in your neighborhood. When you donate,
we'll keep you informed about opportunities to connect with neighbors,
learn more about the issues that affect you, and help preserve and
enjoy our natural areas. "Woodlands and Waterways"
is
a quarterly newsletter that summarizes activities of DCNA and issues of
interest. It is mailed to all members and is available to others upon
request. In addition, letters and notices are sent to member to
announce special events.
Volunteer.
Help restore a trail. Join a litter pick-up party. Help track wildlife.
Learn how to test water quality in Denny Creek. Or join a committee
dedicated to a specific area of interest. Sign-up
for the DCNA newsletter
to stay informed about volunteer opportunities.
